About Margie

Margie was born in the south-east part of Iowa in a small town called, Oakaloosa. She grew up in the country on a farm where her family raised corn and soy beans and hogs. Until 6th grade she went to school about a mile away from her family’s town in a two room school house with a basement — all of which was destroyed later by a tornado that took the town’s church, bank, and general store. She graduated from Okaloosa high school in 1972 — “Go Osky Indians!”

She enjoys yard work and gardening at her home in Chandler TX. She has three beautiful grown and married children who have blessed her life with four grandchildren, all of whom she loves to spoil!

Margie‘s journey at KVNE began as a faithful volunteer who then started working part-time and in February 1996 she joined full-time in the ministry. Her love of shining the light of Christ in the world, and being a blessing to everyone around her, makes her the perfect fit as the ministry’s Director of First Impressions. She makes everyone who calls in or walks through the door feel welcome, loved, and prayed for.

She shared, “You never know what the Lord is going to do daily or send your way — that needs His love and encouragement. I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to work here at this amazing place, and feel so very blessed to be part of it!”
